Pretectum Free Software Trial Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions shall apply should you take advantage of Pretectum’s Free Trial.
General
1. Pretectum Standard Terms and Conditions of Business (which can be found at www.Pretectum.com) shall apply in addition to the Free Trial Terms and Conditions and refers to the use and content of software and materials found on pretectum.com pretectum.io and pretectum.net.
2. The Free Trial period shall last for a period of up to 30 days (“the Free Trial Period”) during which you shall have access to the software and services set out on the free trial offer.
The Free Trial offer shall include the ability to add your own data and your own data definitions which WILL be deleted at the end of the Free Trial Period unless you renew the agreement on a fee pay basis.
3. The Free Trial Period is deemed to start from the date on which you are provided with the log-in details to the application.
4. The login details for the application shall be sent via SMS text to the mobile number or a designated corporate account email as provided on the Free Trial Form.
5. After the Free Trial Period, you shall no longer be able to access the software unless you sign up for a paid service. All data input onto the Software will be automatically deleted within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period unless you have signed up for a paid service.
6. Only one Free-Trial period is permitted per organization.
7. The Free Trial offer applies only to new customers who sign up for the free trial
8. The Free Trial offer shall apply to genuine new customer inquiries only. Pretectum reviews all orders and reserves the right to deny remove or cancel the free trial at any time and for whatever reason.
9. Pretectum reserves the right to change the features of the free trial offer at any time.
10. Pretectum does not make any warranty as to specific features or capabilities that may or may not be made available in the platform or their exact fitness for particular purposes through the duration of the Free Trial.
11. Functionality within the platform for Free Trial users may be impaired, limited, or lessened in contrast to the functionality offered to paid subscriptions.
Data Security
12. For the purpose of data security, the organization using the Free Trial secures its own unique password at the start of the Free Trial period.
13. The organization using Pretectum’s Free Trial shall be fully responsible for the security and safekeeping of the login details and any other Identifiers provided by Pretectum for Pretectum’s Free Trial.
14. Pretectum shall not be responsible for any data breach as a result of the organization’s staff members sharing the web page or log-in details with third parties or unauthorized access by persons having access to the system through the legitimate or illegitimate acquisition of the credentials provided.
Continuation of services after the Free Trial Period
15. If a decision is made to make a purchase before or after the Free Trial Period, payment will have to be made before continued access is provided.
Intellectual Property
16. The software is the property of Pretectum and its owning entities. Any organization using the application during the Pretectum Free Trial Period shall not, during and/or after the Free Trial Period attempt to copy, replicate, or reproduce the software for itself or for provisioning to themselves or any third parties under any circumstances. This is referred to as the “IP Provision”
This IP provision shall remain applicable for a period of twelve months from the conclusion of the Pretectum Free Trial.
17. Supply of access to the platform under the Free Trial establishes no obligations or responsibilities on the part of Pretectum or its agents, with respect to any person or persons signing up for Pretectum Free Trial.
